Abstract

Many advantages accrue from the ability to share teaching triumphs and challenges with colleagues, and a favorite venue for many lies in chemistry education conferences that are held each summer. In 2020 these conferences have been postponed or canceled, so other means have emerged to share ideas. How will these stack up against the familiar face-to-face conferences? Time and experience will tell the tale, but it is possible to think about ways that will be important to consider these interactions and the ways that they can best be imitated with online alternatives.
