Abstract

In this paper I shall address the concept and fundamental ideas of the talking book in a digital perspective. There will be a presentation of a possible way to structure a digital production and distribution flow, and I shall discuss how this certain structure influences the end user's access to information. In this connection I shall demonstrate: 'Costumised end user product', 'Book search and generator maschine', and finally 'Server based interactive talking web sites'. © Springer-Verlag 2004.
