Abstract

A recent survey on software reference architectures (RA) indicates their widespread usage. Among the leading problems when designing and using RA, practitioners point to various aspects of stakeholder management (e.g., stakeholder identification, involvement). In this paper, we identify and analyze issues that lie at the basis of the problems reported in stakeholder management, with a goal to improve the state of the practice. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.
