Abstract

This research paper was originally written by Marie Angelique Arroyo, a first-year student at Occidental College, Los Angeles out of interest. It is not a requirement under any of the academic program, thus produced voluntarily with various supporting evidences such as financial and interviews. The paper further examines two global phenomena in the entertainment industry occurring this year: Taylor Swift in her Eras Tour and Barbie Dolls whose audiences are predominately women and founded by the iconic Ruth Marianna Handle. Both are famous worldwide and signifying great economic impact demonstrating that the works of women should be honored and recognized.
