Abstract

It was the achievement of Andreas Vesalius (1514-1564) to redefine the understanding of human anatomy; and that of Homer was to write the first historical novel. This paper offers a link between the works of these two venturers, by way of an examination of the clinical anatomy of the clavicle. © 2011 The Author.
