Abstract

In this study, samples of composite wire with a matrix of aluminum alloy, reinforced with continuous carbon fibers were obtained by the method of liquid-phase infiltration with ultrasonic treatment. Mechanical tests for three-point bending were carried out and the structure of the composite was studied. The qualitative relationship between the strength of the CF/Al composite and the relief of the fracture surface is shown.
