ANALISIS MAKNA PUISI ‘AKU MELIHATMU’ KARYA K. H. MUSTOFA BISRI KAJIAN SEMIOTIK MICHAEL RIFFATERRE

Abstract

This research examines the meaning of the poem "Aku Melihatmu” by K. H. Ahmad Mustofa Bisri that semiotically by Michael Riffaterre. Semiotic studies can reveal the meaning of poetry objectively, through the signs that appear in the poetry with heuristic and hermeneutic readings, then determine the matrix, model, and variant of the poem. The poem "Aku Melihatmu" writes the sentence I see you repeatedly which is divided into four stanzas. The descriptive method is used to describe poetry so that it can be understood by general readers as a literary work that has beauty and a good message to the reader. The data source of this research is divided into primary and secondary data. The primary data is the poetry "Aku Melihatmu". All the main data were obtained from the object of the research study, where the object of study and the meaning that was raised from the poetry irrelated to anything outside the poetry. The second data is secondary data to support the study. This data is taken from books, scientific journals, print and electronic media related to the primary data of this research, including the literature review. The result of the research is the meaning of the poem "Aku Melihatmu" about the existence of God in everything the servant does.
