Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem of bullying delinquency in Indonesia is an event that can have a bad influence, especially on perpetrators and victims. Incidents of bullying occur because the formation of attitudes that have not been perfect so that bullying behavior often occurs. In Indonesia, the incidence of bullying is getting higher and most of them are in junior high school teenagers. In the Garut Regency area in 2018, there was an incident of bullying at SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul. This bullying incident causes the victim to have a bad impact. Therefore, to prevent bullying behavior, it is necessary to know the attitude of teenagers regarding bullying. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of students' attitudes toward bullying behavior. The research method used descriptive quantitative. The variable used was the attitudes of the students. The population in the study were 255 7th grade students who contained 7 classes, then the sample used was total sampling with a total of 255 respondents. The instrument in this study was questionnaire sheet consisting of 25 statements using Likert scale. The validity and reliability test had been tested by previous researchers, namely Wijaya & Khusnal (2019) with the result of the validity of 0.05 with 95% confidence level and the reliability of the Cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.908. The data analysis used was univariate. The data collection technique was using questionnaire because of the covid 19 outbreak, the researchers collected data using online questionnaire through G-FORM. The time and location of the research were at SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul and the research was carried out in July 2020. Results: The result of the study showed that in student's attitudes toward bullying behavior, 132 people (52.2%) had a positive attitude, and 121 people (47.8%) had a negative attitude. Based on these data, it can be concluded that students' attitudes toward bullying behavior can instill a good attitude not to do the bullying, but the attitudes of students must be monitored to avoid negative attitudes toward bullying behavior. Keywords: Bullying, Attitude, Student ABSTRAK Masalah kenakalan bullying di Indonesia merupakan kejadian yang dapat memberikan pengaruh yang tidak baik terutama kepada pelaku dan korban. Kejadian bullying terjadi karena pembentukan sikap yang belum sempurna sehinnga perilaku bullying sering terjadi.  Di Indonesia kejadian bullying sudah semakin tinggi dan terbanyak yaitu pada remaja SMP. Pada daerah Kabupaten Garut tahun 2018 pernah terjadi kejadian bullying yaitu di SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul. Kejadian bullying ini menyebabkan sang korban memiliki dampak buruk. Oleh karena itu untuk mencegah perilaku bullying maka harus mengetahui sikap para remaja terkait bullying. untuk mengetahui gambaran dari sikap remaja SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul dalam kejadian bullying. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis kuantitatif. Selanjutnya variabel dalam penelitian adalah sikap terhadap bullying di SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul. Populasi pada penelitian adalah 255 siswa kelas 7 yang terdapat 7 kelas, kemudian sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan jumlah 255 responden. Instrument pada penelitian ini adlaah lembar kuesioner yang terdiri dari 25 pernyataan dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Uji validitas dan reabilitas sudah diujikan oleh peneliti sebelumnya yaitu Wijaya & Khusnal (2019) dengan hasil validitas 0,05 dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dan reabilitas koefisien alpha cronbach 0,908. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan univariat. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan kuesioner karena wabah covid 19 maka peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner online melalui G-FORM. Waktu dan lokasi penelitian berada di SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul dan dilaksanakan penelitian pada bulan Juli tahun 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam sikap siswa terhadap perilaku bullying, 132 orang (52,2%) memiliki sikap positif, dan 121 orang (47,8%) memiliki sikap negatif. Berdasarkan data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap siswa terhadap perilaku bullying dapat menanamkan sikap yang baik untuk tidak melakukan tindakan bullying, namun sikap siswa harus dipantau untuk menghindari sikap negatif terhadap perilaku bullying. Kata kunci: Bullying, Remaja, Sikap
