Abstract

E-learning has become a global trend in education recently. We have measured the effectiveness of e-learning program at university level. We found that the e-learning programs are effective in university courses at fundamental level. This paper shall extend our investigation to secondary schools in Hong Kong. Similarly, we have implemented Kirkpatrick's model to measure the effectiveness of e-learning in secondary schools. The quantitative measurements in the study shall provide baseline data for secondary schools in Hong Kong to set its strategic direction of e-learning. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2010.
