Abstract

A review. This article discusses about the role of oxidative stress, apoptosis, nitric oxide and aging in Aβ animal model of Alzheimer's disease. The relationship between aging, nitric oxide synthase-mediated reactive oxygen species-dependent toxicity of beta amyloid toxicity and apoptotic events are discussed. [on SciFinder(R)]
