This chapter describes how flipped learning was applied in an English as a foreign language (EFL) classroom. A large number of students were training to become teachers in the future and they required a method of acquiring knowledge outside of the classroom while putting into practice what they had learned in front of their peers. A survey was used to determine how students perceived flipped learning. Students were extremely positive about the approach, particularly the wide range of activities that came from learning the basics beforehand and then using the in-class time to complete challenges. Although face-to-face teaching time was lessened after implementing flipped learning, the students gained more chances to interact with their instructor and peers in the class.
