Abstract

This paper presents the results of a study on soft tissue injury treated with laser therapy. Sixty patients (40 males and 20 females, whose ages range 32-68 years) with sacraspinal muscle strain, external humeral epicondylitis, or lumbar muscle strain were selected for this study. After laser therapy was received in these patients, their condition all had an improvement immediately. The results showed that the rate of recovery, very good, and good were 50%. 31.7%, and 15% respectively. We believe that the laser therapy for some soft tissue injury is an effective treatment. © 1990, International Phototherapy Association. All rights reserved.
