Abstract

Visual search is an important cognitive method for people to obtain information. Through eye movement, people can obtain and process visual information. We can identify eye movement patterns of individuals or multiple individuals by analyzing experiment data of eye movement. When people take public transportation, bus-waiting is an important stage. During the process of waiting, it is the key to get the vehicles’ identity information accurately and quickly. Early studies have found that the bus face is an essential element for recognition. However, there are still some problems such as the ambiguity of human-computer interaction in this area. Based on the previous researches, this paper studies the layout, color and other factors of the information of bus face by using eye movement equipment from the aspects of design and psychology, which can also provide principles for the optimization of bus face and enhance passengers’ information acquisition experience.
