Abstract

Canonical neurons are a specific class of neurons of the monkey ventral premotor cortex that discharge during motor act execution and in response to the presentation of 3-D objects. Typically they show congruence between the motor acts they code (e.g., precision grip) and the physical properties of the observed object (e.g.w, small object). Cross-References Action Control
