Mobile based home automation and security system

Abstract

Smartphone captured fifty-five percent of the total market of mobile phones, these Smartphone have high computational power rather than the normal mobile phone to run more sophisticated application for home security system. Due to vast development in pervasive computing daily lifestyle of human change drastically, people interested to handle their homesecurity issue and control their home devices from anywhere. Till now there is no such unified application that addressed the both issue i.e. security and automation in a single system. This paper implements Intelligent Security and Automation System (ISAS) application. This application is developed on android platform and it is not limited by android platform and it can be accesses by web browser with limited functionality.
