Abstract

Nowadays, cities are faced with all kinds of natural hazards, so the construction of resilient cities has become a hot topic. In order to improve the city’s ability to cope with various major impacts and chronic pressures, and resilience of the city, providing experience for China’s construction of a resilient city, this paper puts forward a resilience assessment framework from the technical, economic, ecological, social dimensions and analyzes the resilience level of Deyang City which is one of the four cities participating in the 100RC project in China through comparative analysis and data analysis. Firstly, according to China’s national conditions and background, the corresponding indexes are selected, and the indexes are analyzed and digitized to get the resilience development of Deyang in recent years. The results show that the resilience level of Deyang City has been improving in recent years, especially since joining the 100RC project, the technical resilience has increased more significantly. Secondly, although the ecological resilience of Deyang City is improving sometimes, it is still at a low level compared with the other three. Thirdly, the economic and social resilience of Deyang still need to be strengthened. Finally, according to the data analysis results and the actual situation of Deyang, this paper puts forward the corresponding promotion suggestions.
