Abstract

In this paper we study the modelling of intelligent agents to manage organisational memories. We apply the MAS-CommonKADS methodology to the development of an agent-based knowledge management system applied to project administration in a research centre. Particular emphasis is made on the development of the expertise model, where knowledge is expressed as concepts of the CommonKADS Conceptual Model Language. These concepts are used to generate annotated XML-documents, facilitating their search and retrieval.
