Abstract

In this paper, we present the design and implementation of Ubi-Board, a context sensitive and multimodal information diffusion system. Typically, Ubi-Board consists of smart displays with the ability to sense the profile of nearby users, to adapt the information content so as it is understandable and accessible to the people, and to dynamically distribute the information to the appropriate devices, including users mobile devices when necessary. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
