Abstract

The article examines the political implications of millennial movements known as the Occupy Wall Street and the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) group. Topics covered include the criticisms raised against the members millennial generation such as the members being selfish, narcissistic as well as politically disengaged. Also mentioned is the political support expressed by the millennial generation for the election of U.S. President Barack Obama in 2008 and their support for several issues such as same-sex marriage, immigrant rights and labor unions.
