Abstract

The authors study the factors that determine the character and direction of development of rural regions that are parts of an agglomeration. By the example of the Krasnodar city agglomeration, the processes of deformation of economy and social sphere of rural regions of the agglomeration are shown and quantitative and qualitative characteristics of forming tendencies of development of rural territories under the influence of agglomeration processes are given.
