Abstract

The curriculum is a guideline for the implementation of activities, especially educational activities. The curriculum is needed as a guide in carrying out activities and also things that must be fulfilled. The curriculum must be implemented and become an important component in education. The curriculum is set by the government and applies nationally to primary and secondary education. For higher education, the curriculum is managed by each institution but still follows national standards. The curriculum must respond to the challenges of society in facing a life in which the changing times continue. The educational curriculum must be equipped with the aspects that are needed by society, so the curriculum must provide it. Developing an Islamic Religious Education curriculum is a must carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers. The development of this curriculum is an aspect that needs to be mastered by teachers, especially teachers of Islamic Religious Education. The research method used is qualitative methods. Teachers must have mature knowledge and readiness to develop the Islamic Religious Education curriculum. Teachers should not experience stagnation in teaching Islamic Religious Education. The dynamics of learning by developing the Islamic Religious Education curriculum will be realized if the teacher can develop the curriculum well.
