HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DENGAN SWAMEDIKASI DIARE DI MASYARAKAT KELURAHAN PESURUNGAN LOR KOTA TEGAL

Abstract

The implementation of self-medication can be a source of medication errors due to limited knowledge of drugs and their use. Self-medication is used to treat minor ailments, one of which is diarrhea. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and self-medication of diarrhea in the community of Pesurungan Lor Tegal village. The research method used is cross sectional quantitative. The sample of 60 mothers was selected by purposive sampling by considering certain criteria. The results showed that respondents who had good knowledge were at the age of 31-40 years, namely 26 respondents (78.78%). Respondents with a good percentage level of knowledge are those who have a bachelor's degree as many as 11 (91.67%). Respondents with the highest level of good knowledge were working as housewives as many as 24 (75%).
