Abstract

Straw bale constructions are appropriate for the improvement of the housing conditions in developing Countries. The paper presents, starting from the analysis of the context to the fabrication of prototypes, the design process of several human powered balers useful for the production of straw bales for straw bale construction in poor Countries.
