Abstract

Studies on Android application code protection contain two types, on Java layer and on native layer. Java Layer code has been well studied and the common practice is using a packer. While there are relatively few studies on native layer. Based on an improved O-LLVM with new passes, we designed an on-compile code obfuscating solution for Android native layer, which can significantly increase the costs of reverse engineering with an acceptable side effect on performance.
