Abstract

Presents radio carbon dates obtained using a liquid scintillation system installed at the Physical Research Laboratory which has been in operation for the past three years for 14C measurements of oceanographic and geochemical samples from India. Samples include a time series on a coral from the Gulf of Kutch and tree ring samples from the annual rings of a teak tree from near Bombay, India, and oysters from the Saurashtra coast collected to date sea-level changes. -K.Clayton
