Abstract

In this essay we will discuss the phenomenon of globalization as it relates to health. We will focus part of our reflections on one of the most dynamic regions of the planet: the United States and Mexico border, the largest and busiest frontier between the developed and the developing worlds, witness to at least one million crossings every day. © 2007 Springer.
