Abstract

Analysis of Common Emitter (CE) amplifier is essential to know many important concepts like voltage gain, bandwidth, constant gain bandwidth product, output voltage swing, etc. Realizing all these features of an amplifier is time consuming in the conventional lab. As it involves many component variations and there is a risk in getting the output after every variations. Hence, in depth analysis of amplifiers is usually not done in the conventional laboratory classes. Using Remote lab the analysis of amplifier is made easy because the output is guaranteed for every circuit parameter variations. The user need not have to worry about getting the output; instead can concentrate on the circuit performance analysis. In this paper performance of CE amplifier is explored by varying different parameters by performing time and frequency responses. The parameters analysed are voltage gain variation, Gain bandwidth product and phase and gain margins of the amplifier. Paper also presents details of readings obtained by remotely accessing CE amplifier.
