Abstract

In an industrial environment, human factors are defined as interdisciplinary study aimed at optimization of work systems relating to physical and psychological characteristics of workers, investigate the complexity and generally vague relationships between people, machines, and physical environments. The main objective of such investigation is to bridge the gap between human capacities and job requirements, and to also to make a conducive and productive workplace. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
