Abstract

The various binocular mechanisms which have been found to be present in everyday use of the eyes in patients with small-angle strabismus are described. It is shown that almost all possible combinations of bifoveal fixation, fixation disparity, abnormal retinal correspondence, and suppression may occur. It is suggested that the distinction between fixation disparity and abnormal retinal correspondence with a small angle of anomaly may be an indefinite one.
