Abstract

Unfortunately, the first sentence of the second paragraph under the heading “Technology and labour” was published wrongly as below: Tracing back to classical economists (Usher, Baggage, Smith) and prominent scholars (Braverman 1974), we focus the attention on the relation between technology and labour looking at the emerging issues in terms of job content, work organization and possibly international division of labour. The correct version is given below: Tracing back to classical economists (Smith, Babbage), economic historians (Usher) and prominent social scientists (Braverman 1974), we focus the attention on the relation between technology and labour looking at the emerging issues in terms of job content, work organization and possibly international division of labour.
