Abstract

For Bryozoa, all Arctic seas are dominated by boreal-Arctic species. The W parts of the Barents Sea and areas of the Atlantic Ocean adjoining the Arctic Basin are dominated by Atlantic boreal species. Boreal species are replaced by Arctic taxa in the E Barents, Laptev and E Siberian seas. Arctic species are replaced by boreal Pacific taxa in the E Chukchi Sea and adjoining parts of the Bering Sea. North American waters are characterised by Arctic species. -from Authors
