Abstract

Welcome to this exciting and much needed textbook in the field of integrative medicine. It may change your view of disease and conventional medicine. The revolutions of the past two decades in molecular biology and molecular genetics have done an outstanding job of informing physicians and scientists of the molecules, DNA, RNA, peptides, enzymes, proteins, and other components that comprise the human body. We now understand how, and to a great degree, which hormones, neurotransmitters, cytokines, and antibodies are produced in various states of health and disease.
