Abstract

As China's economic and social development and the implementation of family planning policy, China's population age structure will inevitably change, while there is a growing emphasis on education, educational demands are growing rapidly, so the scale of demographic changes have a direct impact on education. This paper forecast the changes of age structure in China's future population with Markov chain, to analyze the impact of change on the education scale. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
