Abstract

This study evaluates the workflow in the design phase using the Construction Information Modeling (BIM) - Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methodology of a multifamily building project in Lima, in order to optimize times, reduce uncertainty and improve productivity. For this, the Common Data Environment (CDE) called Autodesk Construction Cloud was used, which will allow us to manage shared data. Process maps were made for the different activities carried out. Subsequently, all the specialties that make up the project were modeled for the different applied BIM uses. Finally, the results of the workflow of the BIM-VDC implementation with management indicators (KPI’s) are presented, showing a collaborative process that integrates all those involved in the project, allowing to increase the quality, transparency and efficiency of the information.
