Analisa Benchmarking PT Timah Tbk Sebelum dan Setelah Pandemi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of PT Timah Tbk by conducting financial statement analysis and DJP’s benchmark analysis according to the Circular Letter of the Director General of Taxes Number SE-96/PJ/2009 concerning the Total Benchmarking Ratio and Instructions for Utilization. The data collection technique is using the literature study method, where the data is obtained from the study of literature related to benchmarking. The results show that the financial performance of the company PT Timah Tbk during the 2019-2021 period, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, caused a decline in financial performance in 2020. This can be seen from the small profit ratios and the large cost ratios. However, in 2021, there will be an increase in financial performance even though sales have decreased, this is because the company is able to manage costs efficiently and effectively. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan PT Timah Tbk dengan melakukan analisis laporan keuangan dan analisis benchmark DJP menurut Surat Edaran Direktur Jenderal Pajak Nomor SE-96/PJ/2009 tentang Rasio Total Benchmarking dan Petunjuk Pemanfaatannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka, di mana data didapatkan dari studi literatur-literatur terkait benchmarking. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan perusahaan PT Timah Tbk selama periode tahun 2019-2021, karena adanya pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan kinerja keuangan pada tahun 2020. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari kecilnya rasio-rasio profit dan besarnya rasio-rasio biaya. Namun pada tahun 2021, terjadi peningkatan kinerja keuangan walaupun penjualan menurun, hal ini dikarenakan perusahaan mampu melakukan pengelolaan biaya dengan efisien dan efektif.
