Abstract

A new technique called fluctuation microscopy was studied that allows to see order on length scales that are difficult to study with traditional scattering techniques. Fluctuation microscopy can also be performed using photons instead of electrons. The length scale of the medium-range order probed was determined by the volume of material illuminated. The most significant challenges is interpreting fluctuation microscopy data directly in terms of real-space structures.
