Abstract

A method for the purification of the carcinoembryonic antigen CEA without perchloric acid extraction is described. Addition of a synthetic polycarbonic acid precipitates proteins in serum or aqueous tumor extracts while CEA remains in the supernatant. © 1983 Birkhäuser Verlag.
