Abstract

This paper presents an innovative conditioning and read-out interface for resistive MEMS sensor. The proposed structure is implemented along with an offset compensation technique to prevent amplifier saturation due to mismatches. Simulation results demonstrate a significant power consumption reduction for a given SNR or a greater SNR for a given current consumption. Monte-Carlo simulations also proved that the use of offset compensation leads to reduce the spreading in terms of gain and biasing point.
