Indonesia is a rich country with various tribes, ethnics, cultures, and religions. It has been famous country of its pluralism. In one side, it is a wealth and pride but in another side it is a country with high potency of conflicts for disintegration. A Civil Society discourse and multiculturalism is worthy to be taken to minimize conflicts and disintegration in Indonesia. In addition, there are the transnational movements that faced Indonesia. Appreciating human rights, equality, respecting religion believed, appreciating others are integral parts of the Civil Society discourse and multiculturalism which should be given early through education. In the Islamic education context, it harmonizes the Islamic senses through education. So that, it creates a society which is called as madani society.
