An Attempt to Estimate Mechanical Properties of Rocks Using the Equotip Hardness Tester.

Abstract

国内の数地点より採取 された岩石コアを対象 としたエコーチップ硬さ試験,一 軸圧縮試験および弾性波試験を行 い,得 られた硬さ指標 と力学特性の相関関係について検討を実施 した.そ の結果,硬 さ指標を用いて岩石の一軸 圧縮強度が大略推定できる可能性が大 きいこと がわか った. The Equotip hardness tests, unconfined compression tests and elastic wave tests were conducted using rock cores sampled from several sites in Japan, and a consideration of correlations between obtained hardness indexes and mechani- cal properties was carried out. As a result, it was found that there was a fair possibility of estimating the values of uncon- fined compressive strength using hardness indexes.
