Abstract

With the rapid development of network technology in the education industry and the wide popularization of network applications, various new network applications are emerging one after another, such as network multimedia teaching, VOIP application, video on demand, the video surveillance data and so on also obtained the fast development. The enthusiasm of students to use the Internet is also unprecedented, the penetration rate of personal computers in colleges and universities is increasing year by year. The rapid expansion of the size of the network, the rapid growth of network users, the popularization and deepening of key applications, the role of the campus network has been changed from an experimental network of Education and scientific research to an operational network with equal emphasis on education, scientific research and services, the campus network has already played the vital role in the school informationization construction. Under the guidance of the national policy of vigorously advocating the deep integration of education and modern information technology, cloud desktop technology, as the standard of “smart campus”, can better provide high-quality teaching environment for teachers and students of colleges and universities, improving the efficiency of campus information management.
