The purpose of interorganizational networking is to enable cooperative methods to be used to improve business performance. Given this, organizations seek greater integration, competitiveness, cost reduction, higher productivity and organizational profitability. In this context, the cooperative methods in the supply chain are relevant to make possible the practical methods of interorganizational collaboration. In this perspective, the objective of this work is to present the main collaborative methods applied in the supply chain management, seeking to identify its characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, as well as its applicability and implementation difficulties in the Brazilian scenario. The methodology used was on the prism of Cronin, Ryan and Coughlan (2008), applying literature review and theoretical contribution. The results indicate managerial and reading contributions that enable the reader to easily understand, enabling an understanding of the best choice and application of a cooperative method, as well as dissemination and generation of knowledge for literature. It is also identified that this practice is still embryonic in the Brazilian business scenario.
