Abstract

This article describes a design of a robotic assistant which would help patients as well as their caregivers. In the introductory part an ordinary walker is described. In the second part, there is a description of the structure and the function of the robotic assistant. The criteria for stability are specified and from them the prototype design of the construction of the robotic assistant is determined. Further, the structure of the management and control of the robot are described. Lastly, sensors and control of electrical motors are described and future additional sensor improvements are mentioned briefly.
