Abstract

The agricultural sector is faced with various obstacles, including environmental damage caused by the excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides. In the industrial revolution 4.0, agricultural sector actors need to adapt to change by implementing organic farming. Therefore, this research aims to determine the factors influencing farmers' attitudes towards organic rice cultivation. This was conducted in Mojogedang District, as the center of organic rice. Data were collected through interviews and observation and analyzed using multiple regression and qualitative information. The results showed that 51.33% of farmers lacked confidence in the certainty of organic rice prices, 66.67% had access to mass media related to organic farming, 61.33% had accepted organic farming interventions, and 76% had good attitudes towards organic rice cultivation. The attitude of farmers in organic rice cultivation is influenced by belief in price certainty and intervention from various parties, while access to mass media has no effect. In order for farmers to have a good attitude towards organic rice cultivation, intervention from extension workers in the form of education, training, and comparative studies related to organic rice cultivation and marketing is needed.
