Abstract

What are the disadvantages of corruption? Could we not say that corruption benefits both parties (the bribe giver and receiver) and that it only contributes to the economy? Each society always has to deal with corruption. We have an international approach to fighting corruption based on the UN anti Corruption. I am going to start with some examples and talk about the TI-corruption Perception Index. Then I want to discuss the Corruption Convention itself. And in the end I will discuss possible solutions of the problem.
