IMPLEMENTASI STRATEGI DINAS LINGKUNGAN HIDUP DALAM MENANGANI SAMPAH DI KOTA SERANG

Abstract

Handling waste management in Serang City is the responsibility of the Serang City Environmental Service. This study was conducted to determine the implementation of strategies from the Serang City Environmental Service in dealing with waste in Serang City. Researchers will describe Strategy Implementation with Strategic Management theory according to J. David Hunger and Thomas L. Wheelen (1996: 9) covering environmental observations, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, evaluation and control. However, in this study, researchers focused on strategy implementation to suit the research needs. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The results of this study indicate that the handling of waste management in Serang City is still running less than optimally. The planned program still has several obstacles, as well as the monitoring process for illegal waste is still not going well and the availability of the budget is still insufficient for handling waste problems in Serang City. So that the people of Serang City still do not know how to manage waste properly.
