Abstract

Kenny Kirsch has had a long career in marketing and strategic initiatives, from his career as a VP at NAPC to his current role as Chief Strategist at Toasted Snow. Their article details the skills needed to lead digital change in an organization. They also provide information on what leadership needs to provide to make a change process successful, from support to choosing the wrong leaders. This article highlights the skills a digital implementation change manager would need to drive a project to completion. In addition, instead of focusing on resistance from subordinate stakeholders, the article highlights how the leaders of an organization can sabotage their change processes. This article helps lay the framework for further discussion of leadership support.
