Sistem Informasi Distribusi Semen Berbasis Website dengan Pendekatan E-Supply Chain Management

Abstract

The Cement is a product that has a very important role in building construction. The magnitude of this role has an impact on the high demand for cement, where the more development, the higher the demand for cement in the region. Each region has a distributor company that becomes an extension of manufacturing in distributing and marketing the cement that has been produced into the hands of agents and retailers. The company is responsible for making requests to manufacturers, distributing cement from manufacturing to warehouses and distributing to agents and retailers. One of the cement distributor companies is PT. Dumai Indah Sejati, a distributor company of Semen Padang and Semen Dynamic located in Dumai City, Riau. In its management, this company has problems monitoring the distribution process, processing distribution reports and inventory reports that are still manual and separate. This results in companies experiencing difficulties in planning needs, managing the distribution process and inventory of goods.
