Abstract

Digitalization is the application of technology to promote efficiency and long-term competitive advantage. There is a consensus that corporate governance is all about transparency, accountability, and people. But how has the digital revolution impacted the business world and particularly how the artificial intelligence and big data could influence corporations’ corporate governance? The purpose of our study is to examine the influence of digitization on corporate governance. Besides, to check if the advantages outweigh the implications and to identify what are the associated factors and risks.
