Abstract

Headache, and especially migraine, is a very important disorder that affects many people. It is the fifth leading cause of emergency department visits. Ozone treatment is used for numerous diseases by various methods by converting O2 to O3 by ozone generators. There is a growing interest in medical ozone among physicians focused on the treatment of migraine. Here, mechanisms of ozone treatment of headache and migraine are discussed.
